1st Post.  I have a hand built 40 S&W that uses UZI (modified) or Colt style mags.  I have polished the BCG side rails.  The round when feeding gets caught on the bolt face which has been polished.  With out the extractor it seems to feed flawlessly.  Do I remove the extractor and hope blow back clears the case and it ejects?  When feeding with out the extractor the loaded cartridge just falls out, that does not mean an expanded/fired cartridge would.  It does not look like the case is hitting the extractor when it won't feed.  Most commonly the round is slanted with the nose up.  All advice would be appreciated.

as a rule that is the classic symptom for a mag releasing a round too late to make the transition to the chamber.....try bending the forward part of the mag lips open just a hair.....although remember all my experience is with gas op pistol caliber AR's
