My kids have decided. I must put a dedicated .22 upper on one of my unused lowers. So here's the question.
When I buy the CMMG complete upper, which of the upgrades do you recommend? They offer several. We want the gun to be a plain M4 clone with handguards and no rails. We want to use GI style sights since its a trainer. What else should we order when we order the upper. I may end up with two the way the kids are talking. And my kids say thank you.

Stainless Bolt and Dedicated Collar upgrade. Steel Feed Lip Magazines if available. Other options can be added
after the purchase if you feel they are necessary. This much will get you started... You'll need a rear sight or carry handle too. Basically find this at the link below or... ? I always recommend the stainless up grade. It's stronger, smoother, uses less lube, stays cleaner and is easier to clean.
You can put a Magpul rear sight or a carry handle sight on the rear. BHOA can be added at any time. If you are interested in the forward assist, get it now. To add it later will cost you more. Dave N |
