I bought this upper a while ago and after having some minor problems this upper works flawlessly, but not with the fifty rd drums. I have three drums and have tried all of them and the upper will not fully chamber a rd.

The bolt does not close all the way. These are Blackdog drums and work perfectly in my model 1 sales upper but they also do not work very well in my sig 22 although with the sig it will fire some of the rds. but not if I load 50 rds.

 Any help will be appreciated.

Sounds like the bolt may be hitting on the feed lips. Tolerance issues I would imagine. You may be able to take a little off the feed lips. I would make sure that is whats hitting first.
Also, check to see if the bolt has the 45 degree angle cut on the front.

We looked at buying one of those Black Dog drum mags too but I am skeptical of how well they will work and let us know if you figure out the problem and it works nice, would appreciate it...Also how easy or hard are they to load?

I looked and could not see a 45 degree angle cut on my bolt. I hate to do any adjustments to these mags since they work flawlessly in my model 1 sales upper.

These drums are a lot easier to load than the regular mags and like I said they have preformed flawlessly for over 2k rds each in all three mags.

Dave N, do you have a picture of the 45 degree cut you're talking about?
