I'm assuming it shoots fine with the backup sights, is that correct? If so it can really only be the mount, the Aimpoint, how the mount mates up with the upper, or how the mount and the Aimpoint mate up with each other.
Before pointing at either the mount or the Aimpoint I'd remove them from each other and remount them together, looking for anything preventing them from mounting flat together. Same with how the mount attaches to the upper, make sure there's no flashing or debris preventing the mount from sitting perfectly flat on the rail. Like already mentioned if you have access to another mount, try it in place of the KAC one temporarily to see if it changes anything. If not, all fingers point at the Aimpoint being faulty (or the elevation knob working backwards from what you'd expect). Beautiful rifle, by the way. |
