Is it ok to shoot a 9mm AR without a 9mm buffer in the gun? Trying to piece together a build and dont have a 9mm buffer yet.

Thanks, I was thinking just a couple shots to see how its sounds with a suppressor on it.

Try a stack of 11 quarters between the bolt and buffer. It will add a little over two ounces to the system and shorten the run the bolt gets before it hits the bolt catch on an empty mag.
