I'm looking to build my first 9mm AR. My questions are:
1) Are 9mm barrel lengths measured the same as 223/5.56 barrels? 2) Do 9mm barrels use the m4 style feedramps? 3) Does anyone make a H-Bar profile or medium profile barrel in 9mm? 4) What are the best sources for 9mm barrels? |

Oly system 9mm uppers use a different barrel extension/feeramp, not M4 style. 3) You can order anything you want. Most stock 9mm barrels are already what would be considered heavy-profile for .223. 4) At least a dozen. Colt, Rock River and Olympic come immediately to mind, but you need to use your search-fu to google other suppliers. |
