| What is the easiest way to load the 9mm Metalform mags. I have a RRA and the modified Uzi loads fine and the one Cproducts I have laods fine but its hard to load the Metalform. |
|
They get a lot easier to load after the 452nd time, give or take.
They really aren't that bad to load in my opinion. The part that sucks is when you have to load a lot of them or load them repeatedly throughout the day. Get a Lula or learn to bump them when loading... |

| From reading on here, I fully expected the Metalform mags to be an absolute nightmare to load. To my surprise, I found them to be no more difficult to load than any other double column high capacity mag I have for other weapons. With that being said, I do find the Maglula to be an absolutely incredible invention. I have one for AR 5.56 mags and one for M14 7.62 mags and I plan to get one soon for my AR 9mm mags. |

Midsouth Shooters Supply is selling the Maglulas for $10.30 each so I bought 2. They really do make things easier. What is the "bump" method? After you load about 5 to 10 rounds by hand, place the next round on top (as if you are preparing to load it) and bump the bottom of the mag on a padded surface. The inertia of the bump forces the other rounds that are loaded down to make room for the next cartridge you are trying to load. It's done in one motion. Cartridge positioned on top, bump...Cartridge positioned on top, bump...etc. Give it a try. It made me laugh when it worked .
