Hey guys, I'm looking to get some new magazines for my AR22. Is one more rugged than the other?  I like the Black Dog Machine clear mags so I can see how many rounds are in it at a glance. I shoot one 3 gun match a month with my 22s so being able to quickly know which ones need to be topped off is important to me(I guess my lancers have spoiled me),   I wonder if they are sturdy or are the smoke ones better? I just don't have enough experience with different mags to know which are GTG.?  Thanks for your input!

I don't think the colouration makes any difference to the integrity of the material. I still have a clear beta test mag which is still going strong but all my others are smoke. I just prefer those, not keen on the full black myself.

Thanks for your input guys.  I guess it's BDM smoke colored mags, that's good because I can find them cheaper than the clear ones. BTW the cmmg mags are very tough but I can't see through them.

Palmetto State Armory has clear BDM mags for $16.99 + s/h. (And smoke, black and FDE)
