It is interesting to note that of all the rifles that have been made, the AR15 is the most popular. Is it because this rifle can be modified to about any configuration, the availability of endless components on the market, plus a good-looking profile?
Note SPECOPS 13: You stated that the rimfire section is near a ghost town. That is because of all your vast knowledge. You covered almost all of the subjects one can on the 22 ! I fired a lot of the big bore rifles but enjoy the 22 the most, besides being cheap. By the way, I also fired six 50 cal. machine guns simultaneously and four 20 mm simultaneously. Anyone know how that was done? Just completed the build of a 22 dedicated, conversion parts by C L E. Frank the owner was very good to work with and has excellent quality. With a little fine tuning on the mags, the rifle performed without any malfunctions, using Browning and Remington Target ammo. The components used are the following: C L E M261 22cal bolt and a Douglas SS Barrel 20" Jard trigger/hammer DG lower receiver modified SS bushings DPMS upper receiver modified SS bushings BCM charging handle BDM 10 round mag modified Larue scope mount Sightmark scope Mako bipod RRA A2 stock Magpul grip RRA mid length handguard modified Note I have 10 pictures to send and have an Apple Computer, I do not understand how to send them. I tried the third button on the right and have my photos on the desktop ready to send in .jpg format but I do not know how to enter in the "URL" format requested in the box. |

I use Photobucket free account, Another option for photo hosting.
Copy the direct link and Paste to the allowed Scripted Window. This is done with the 3rd Insert Tags button from the right just under the message window. Click it one time and authorize the Scripted Windows, then click it and paste the link into the box. You can then use the preview button to review your write up and pictures before submitting it. The Sticky'd post is going up at a rate of about 1,000 views a week, so I guess it's doing the job it was intended to do. The Rimfire section is lonely compared to what it used to be. Welcome to ARFCOM, SpecOps-13 |
| As you can see the AR15 is tacking it's honorary position among the Winchesters, Browings, Ruger, and Kentucky rifles.http://i44.tinypic.com/34rsx84.jpg |
