Ive heard there is a real accuracy issue with the conversion unit in a 16 inch 1&9 twist rate 223 barrelled upper.But would a 20 inch barrell help stablize the bullet 4 a little more accuracy,p.s. I also have RRA 2 stage trigger in all of my ars and have had zero problems even with my spikes complete upper and spikes 22lr marked lower just wanted to double my fun at the range and sling alot more lead

The 40 gr .22 LR stabilizes best in a 1:16 inch twist barrel. The old Colt SP1's had a 1:12 inch twist and the accuracy was not terrible with a .22 conversion. So, don't expect to win the Biathlon Gold Medal with a converted AR that has a 1:9 twist. BUT! You can have a blast, and save a lot of money, shooting an AR with the conversion installed.   Mike |
