I am in the process of building a Colt/RRA pattern 9mm. Is the general consensus that the Hahn dedicated block is the best available. If not, what would you recommend? I'm having trouble deciding and I would like to order this thing pretty soon. Thanks.

It's hard to say what the "consensus" is around here these days, but if whatever you decide on doesn't work, there are plenty of folks that will surely tell you how to machine this, grind that, file here, or make other permanent mods to get things working...

Yeah, I'm figuring on having a little tweaking to do when I get it finished.

I'm sorry.  I was being a bit cheeky with my remarks.

The only tweaking that I have ever found to be absolutely necessary for an in spec factory or parts gun is making sure the ejector is in the proper position in relation to the bolt.  Any more than that and you're simply correcting a problem/s that shouldn't be there to begin with.

Sounds good. So, the Hahn should be good to go....

All of mine have been/are 100% with Colt/Spikes/Metalform or modded IMI/MecGar/quality Uzi mags.

I have two Colt 6450's, However if i needed to purchase a mag block, I would go with the Spike's unit.
