Two hundred rounds through a new CMMG .22 conversion in my AR15A2 today produced one FTF (during an experiment to see what it did with standard velocity), and one bad primer.
Federal Game Shok and CCI Velocitor ran flawlessly and produced sub four-inch groups at 50 yards with iron sights. I am relieved that it functions so well. |
| Same here, used mine for the first time Sunday. About 200 rounds, 3-4" ten round groups at 40 yards, sitting position, 1/9" twist, iron sights. I had about four or five light primer strikes (reduced power hammer spring), and one stovepipe. All HV rounds that I tried fed and fired just fine, seemed to like Federal 550 bulk and Mini-Mags the best. It grouped the worst with Velocitors. |
