What is the difference between a regular 5.56 upper and a dedicated 22lr upper?
I know the bolt is different, right? That is basically what you are buying when you buy a conversion kit. I know that for better accuracy you should get a barrel with a 1 in 16 twist, is that the only difference in barrels. I want to get a dedicated 22lr upper, and I am considering piecing one together rather then buying one from someone like Spikes Tactical (although I hear they make a very nice product).
