I came home from the hospitol with my new little shooting buddy (Nicholas....now 6 days old!!!) to find a brown box on my front porch with my dedicated bolt and 5.5" dedicated barrel!!!  Yipppeeeedoooo!!!  However, I am kinda confused about the dedicated bolt.  I just don't see how it picks up and feeds a .22LR shell with the big void in front of the bolt.  I hope I got all the parts I needed with it.

I think I have all the parts I need for my upper except a charging handle assembly.

I am using:
DPMS Lo-Pro Receiver
YHM Lightweight Free Float Handguard
5.5" Spikes Dedicated .22LR Barrel
Spikes Dedicated Bolt
BDM 27rnd Magazines
Tango Down Stubby Forward Grip
Unbought Red Dot Optic.

I will post picks when I get it all together!!!!

Congrats on BOTH your new babies! I wonder which one you'll love more. I got the Spike's drop in conversion bolt in my Noveske and have been grinning ear to ear at the range watching people come and go while I plink away as long as I want! It is great hearing a small bang instead of a cash register every shot!

Once you get your charging handle you should be gtg there's really no mystery to the bolt once you play with it for a minute you see how simple it works. I think I need a lighter hammer spring because I'm still getting a few various failures that point to the hammer catching the bolt too hard. Still kicks ass!

Good luck with the new family you lucky bastard
