| If I were to buy a conversion, likely Spikes, is that all that I need to shoot 22LR out of my AR? Or are there pieces/parts other than the kit itself that I would need? Thanks. |
| I don't know if Spikes is "the best", but my research has led me to buy theirs. I own a few of their products and have not had any problems. I also hear that the customer service from Spikes is top notch, although I have not had any reason to test them yet. I've seen a few places recently that have the Spikes conversions, as well as CMMG conversions in stock. Just look around a little bit and you can fond them. |

I would venture a guess that all of the conversions are going to be about the same quality.
I ordered Spikes because Tom has a great reputation for taking care of customers in a big way. CMMG... well, it took two weeks to get a call back early last year, and that was to place an order. Ceiner... Meh, rear about his customer service anywhere. It's a finicky product that .22lr stuff is, no matter who makes it. I want to buy from someone, who will help in the unlikely event there is a problem. I believe I made the right choice. |
