What is the recommended range to zero my ST-22 upper?

Its a 11.5-12.0" bbl (to have the 10.5" look), 1/16 rifling.  No optics, just irons.

I did some range sessions to check for reliability but I still have to do the sights fine tune.

Some pics of my upper and a group at 15yds from the bench:

I have no doubt this upper is a little tack driver, but I want to know what is the optimum BZO range for .22LR

Any help with the subject will be appreciated.

When I'm hunting beer cans I like to do it from 50 yards.

POI with a M261 kit is pretty close to 5.56mm at 25 yards.

I zero mine at 50 yards. It's still real close at 25. So I suppose you could zero at 25 and see what the POI is at 50.

50 is good, should keep you within 2" at 100

I always zero at 50 yards, and 100 requires a lot of holdover to hit the bullseye - it drops 2-3 inches.

I also zero at 50 yards and I usually shoot 3 to 4 inch low at 100.  When shooting a steel bowling pin If I aim at the head of the pin I hit it in the body with this zero.  If I aim at the middle of the body of the pin I shoot low and miss the swinging bowling pin.  I've shot with this zero so much I just know how much to hold over and have no trouble hitting steel targets and it makes things interesting shooting smaller objects (cans and moving objects).
