I just picked up a new CZ V-22 upper with three mags. Just wondering how good or bad these are?

Like all the .22 uppers, they are sometimes problematic and might need some tweaking.

The CZs are usually pretty acurate and most of the ones I have seen run great.

The biggest problem in my opinion was the decision to go with a side charging handle instead of the standard AR charging handle.  The free float tube is kind of fugly too.

I have shot the shit out of mine and I believe that they will usually outshoot Ceiner based .22 systems.  Currently there is no importer so that is an issue for support down the road.

CCS (?) has hicap mags and Stateline Guns in New Hampshire is the former warranty guy for theCZ uppers and are very competent in fixing any of their problems.

I've run one for over five years with very few problems that were usually ammo/mag related. Now that the BDM mags are freely available I have no problems

Dan over at CCS was working on getting more of these into the country (or knew someone who was working on it), but haven't heard anything lately. With the cost of ammo, someone could make a "killing" selling these right now. (Pun intended )

I had one a few years ago and it ran flawlessly. I sold it for reasons I don't remember and later bought a DPMS .22 upper. The only difference in my eyes was that the DPMS had a better finish.

I finally got to the range with it. I only had time to shoot 100rds of CCI mini mag and I must say this things rocks!!

I just picked up the last 2 10rd mags CTD had in stock too. I would like the 27rd BDMs but no go in NJ :(

BDM makes some 10 rd mags but I am not sure if they are for the V22.

I bought one earlier this year. Some of the uppers have initial  teething problems whilst others work fine. Mine has proven to be very reliable with minimag and std velocity fodder straight out of the box, although I do ensure I clean it well after use.

I use the BDM mags too.

Enjoy your purchase

Cheers

I would like to know if anyone is importing these also.

I held off on buying one a few months back because I was rather concerned about the continued availability of parts for them.
