I have been accumulating 9mm parts for a while and only lack the mag block. I am 80% sure I want a dedicated Hahn block even after reading the nasty thread in this forum. I read that you can get them for cheaper than suggested retail but most places seem to be a straight up $200. Any suggestions? |
I paid the $200 Brownells was asking because I needed it quickly, was in stock, and their return policy is second to none. You can return the item no questions asked at any time. It was worth the extra $ from me for this sort buisness practice.

Since the OP has been accumulating parts for a while and doesn't seem to be in a hurry, why not wait a little bit longer for the dedicated top load block from CP for only $99? The release date for it is imminent. Add in a 3-5 mags from CP/44mag for $20 each and you're good to go for $160-200. |
That's where my money is going on any more 9mm builds I do in the future. Let me piggy back on that one. I purchased some Cproducts 9mm mags a while back when they were just released. I wasn't impressed with them because they were not feeding 100% like my colt mags. I since found out the problem was with the followers. I called Cproducts and asked to PURCHASE replacement current revision followers and he wouldn't take my money. I was sent new followers via PRIORITY mail. Way to go CProducts! Now hurry up and put that block on the market! |
That is the funniest damn thing I've heard all day. |
I was hoping someone would find that at least as funny as I did. |
It would be nice to at least know which side it was. |
So would I. So I guess that rules out my side. I don't know why the mods didn't say who it was, because that behavior should have been dealt with harshly. I have my suspicions
|
Yea, I expect it in about two weeks, right after the Scar, and just before the ACR |
I don't know Tomster, I've read a lot of Agatha Christie . . . ![]() (I keed, is funny right? Seriously, what's the point of calling attention to it, and then leaving it hanging. So as far as I can tell, it might have been: 1: those people critical of the way Hahn handled the situation 2: those people that were critical of the people in group #1 or 3: random comments that did not always support one side or the other, but only served to increases tension without acutely contributing anything factual to the discussion. Wouldn't that be great. One person, posting under three names, arguing with himself over crap he made up in a previous post. |
Hahn or someone else from AZ? I thought dehammer may have previously worked for Hahn or was somehow otherwise affiliated with them in the past. I don't know this for a fact, just recalling what my feeble memory seems to remember from the past. If I'm wrong, my apologies. I did find it funny that dehammer was telling me (however incorrectly) what Dustin/Hahn had offered me in my private e-mail conversations with him. |
Exactly. dehammer's last post was probably the final straw. If someone who has some clout with treetop, ask him. I'm curious. |
If by "ring" you mean "IM", I did the day the thread got locked. And even though you and I may disagree on some things (don't want to start anything up again, just sayin Assuming it was HP. Or you. Or me. As it is, only one person knows for sure. |
Dehammer = Dustin = Hahn Precision |
"Someone needs to pick one account to post from, rather than 3." 'Dustin' never posted, just Dehammer and Hah. So who is the 3rd? |
I have no idea who the three parties are. I was confirming that the "Dehammer" account is used by Dustin of Hahn Precision fame. I see now that I could have worded my post more clearly. Sorry for any confusion. |
No worries, I just want to find out if I was "betting on the wrong horse." |
And to piggyback, Ill join as a paying member. I can only think of 1 reason that the beans havn't been spilled yet (and probably never will for that matter). Reputation. If it got out that Hahn was using multiple accounts to launch multiple attacks against someone in such a manner, I think it would do serious damage to his business and reputation. I don't care how well his products worked, people would choose to not do business with such a company. I had and still do have my suspicions and that is why I chose to never buy another one of his products. Good luck getting an official word from anyone here due to the damage it would cause. Unofficially, I think by now we all know how it went down. Thanks for that bit of info slash. |

back to the OP: Brownells is cheaper. and you DO NOT need and FFL or C&R to get the discounted dealer pricing from them. Hahn does make good products..........but HP is in it for the money and is driven by the $$$$. Brownells is the only one that gets a discount. wow..........just read the locked threaded ya'll are talking about........I then looked up Dehammer's postings for the last 3 months.........everyone of them is in this forum only......yeah, I would say that sounds like Dustin |
