Do the Ceiner .22lr conversions kits work with left handed uppers??  Anyone know if Spikes new .22lr (when they eventually start selling them seperately) will work with a lefty upper?

Thanks,

How would it eject?

I've not seen an upper (ie Stag) set up for a lefty and honestly don't know if there is a difference in the BCG used for these. I have a son who shoots left handed and am wondering if considering buying a left handed upper if the standard .22lr Ceiner conversion will run in it. My other option is to buy a dedicated .22lr upper but as far as I know, no one makes these for a lefty shooter. Looking for advise. Please educate me.

My understanding is the RRA uses a "lefty" bolt - meaning the extractor & ejector
are mirrored. The same would have to go for the Ciener kit.

The bolt and carrier on the Stag lefty is mirrored and not interchangeable with the standard right hand parts.  My friend has one.  Stag, at one time, was supposedly developing a left-handed .22 upper or conversion but it never happened.

My friend does shoot my Kuehl dedicated upper with no problems.  Do need to wear good shooting glasses as there can be some gas/particles blowing back.

YMMV
