My tax stamp just came back today for my form 1 SBR build. (sent it off on the first)  I'll be taking my 22 upper off my pistol lower and going to the range tomorrow.   I have a pair of the new BDM mags that I have not used yet (I have a Spikes upper with a 6" barrel and hopefully a can if my tax stamp for that came into my class 3 today as well).  I loaded up the mags yesterday and only got about 25 rounds in them and the last several were stiff as hell.  I thought I read something about needing to trim a couple coils off the spring.  Is that true or was that fixed before they actually went into production?

BTW how many rounds are these thing supposed to hold?

The lastest run of mags have the 11" spring as opposed to the 12" spring that the "older" mags have.  You can trim the spring down by an inch or you can just let the springs break themselves in over time.
