Do any of you have any experience with complete uppers from Kurt's Kustom Kuehl Precision Spike's Compass Lake If so, please post your reviews and what you would recommend. Thanks. |
| OK - I hate to say it, but I think the reason that so many people have looked at this and no one has responded is that there are a bunch of topics in this forum covering most of this stuff. Look on pages 2-5 and read every thread on 22 uppers and you'll get your answers. In a nutshell, Spike's is very popular and is the most affordable - the others have a reputation for being slightly more accurate, but much more expensive. I can't confirm the accuracy but only can relay what I've read, but I do know they are more costly. I have a Spike's and absolutely love it. Runs on a modified Ciener kit and is more than accurate enough for me. Well made, great customer service and only about $550 complete with Ciener kit. The others will run in the $800+ range |

I think Spikes is quickly making a name for themselves. Esppecially in the 22LR world. They make some nice stuff. I've placed two orders with them in the last three months and there are more things that I want. My Spikes upper and rail came in today and is going on my pistol lower until my SBR paperwork comes back. I doubt I'll shoot it though because I'm also waiting on suppressor paperwork to come back. Look for a range report in about a month. FWI They just got the new BDM mags in. I think I got the first two to be shipped out. |
