My RRA started out very reliable now it is giving me problems with ejection. It will leave a spent case in the action while another one is trying to feed into the gun. I have tried switching my buffer back to stock with the stock spring ( I also have a Slash Heavy buffer and a extra power wolf buffer spring I installed to keep the bolt stop from breaking). What areas can I check I am more familiar with the 5.56 gas system and this blow back is a bit harder for me to trouble shoot. Do I need to adjust the mag block? Thanks in advance. Pat |
Is it leaving it in the Chamber? if it is it might be time for a upgraded extactor spring. Blow back is not that hard to work with. Your Mag block may be too low, find out if the extractor is hitting the brass or not. Next, I have better luck with higher powered ammo. +p+ is prefered for my blowback guns. What kind of mag block, is it pinned/set screw/top drop in/bottom drop in/HY-TECH? This could be asked in troubleshooting also, BEST OF LUCK. |

Yank the extractor and clean out the hole it sits in. It doesn't need cleaning that often, but an amazing amount of crud can build up in there. Just drive out the roll pin holding it in place and pry it forward. As noted above, check to see if your magwell block has shifted. That will cause your ejector to move. |
