If you don't mind me asking, what exactly are your ejection issues when cycling by hand? Been my experience, the .45 upper set ups are very forgiving when it comes to parts used and the ejector location. I had one last year that never would eject by hand but fire it and it would spit out the brass so fast and hard it could take an eye out. I have also seen a few bolt carrier assemblies from Oly that fluctuated on the tolerances. I had 2 a while back that would barely slide into the upper and I have one in my safe now I got last week that is very tight. I had to swap it around between 5 uppers to find one it would slide into by hand. It's still tight, so I will spray it wil Remington Dry Lube and shoot the piss out of it. |

I haven't fired the 45 yet. When hand-cycling, every few rounds the round just gets pulled back then drops onto the empty mag or round in the mag..... It could be a whole bunch of reasons why, but everything is really tight for now, so I think firing it will reveal more and will probably, as you say, solve everything. the trigger is a dpms and is very very hard and heavy, so much so that once lasst week when pulling back the bolt with my weak hand, my finger slipped off and I clocked myself in the upper chest so hard that I had to sit down and make the stars stop spinning on my ceiling.... |
damn that's a great offer. I actually have a spare but I don't have the right spring. I ahve the right detente, but I've tried every spring I have to no avail. |

also, with a lever mag release on bottom, this is a great ambi-gun.... the slide stop isn't functional as a last round BHO only a manual BHO, so other than that it's compeltely embidextrous. maybe i will go with an ambi safety.... care to recommend one if I go that route? |
