The M261 kit will not run fullauto.

It will if you take out the auto sear and place the selector in the AUTO position. It isn't very consistent and you risk an out of battery ignition. It will empty the 10 round mag very quick! I realize this isn't safe and don't try this at home. I was just really bored one time at the range and was monkeying around with the M203's (it was 1992 and we mounted the M203 to the M16A1's we still had, they were full auto and were more fun than the A2's) I was a dumb PFC at the time and in retrospect would not attempt to do it again, but it is possible!
