I put together a RRA 9mm with a DPMS trigger group. Semi auto only, and not used very often so I'm not crazy about having the bolt ramped. It functions very well, but the trigger pull must be about 12 pounds. What are some options for a trigger closer to the four pound mark? Thanks in advance, Leftyshooter.

I had the same problem. Order the JP yellow springs from Brownells. They are about $9. It will make all the difference in the world.

I ended up doing a modified version of the .25 cent trigger job for AR's.

Instead of cutting the spring legs though, I just bent both legs on the hammer and trigger springs to reduce the spring tension, similar to what you would end up with by just installing the lighter JP springs without paying an extra $10 for springs.  You can experiment with bending just the hammer or trigger spring or both until you get the trigger pull where you want.

I have a DPMS LPK in my Rock River lower and ended up cutting my trigger pull pretty much in half to ~6-7 lbs. last I checked.  I've had no reliability problems with any ammo so far.
