| I have a Colt 9mm lightweight sporter which uses an A2 stock,now i bought a carbine stock but it has a .223 weight buffer in it,can i use this on my 9mm?? |
| Although it will technically work, I have read that the light buffer will not be able to control the carrier and it will hit so hard in the buffer tube that it could crack the back of the receiver, and cause a major failure if it is employed. I would only use a suitable heavy buffer in a 9mm setup. |
