Is it the ciener kits that have the magazines that are inserted into regular 5.56 mags? or is that another kit? Of all the .22lr kits is the ciener the best one to go with over the others (i.e. m261) |
| The mags do not fit inside the 5.56 mag. They have a built in mag block, you insert the conversion mag just like a regular 5.56 mag. I have a ciener and its cheap. my total cost so far is $140 for the kit, $60 for 2 BDM mags and $22 for ammo. Total cost so far has been $222. I have shot over 1100 rounds so far, using the current price of $220 for Poly Wolf my 223 ammo cost would have been $244. The unit has paid for itself and I am $24 to the good. |
It's the M261 or Olympic Arms kit (they're the same) that have the 10-round mags that insert into standard AR mags. Word is Black Dog is coming out with 30-rounders sometime in the near future. Scott |
