Here are some pics to tease you guys waiting for Justin's 10%ers to be finished or Ameetec's production. This is my prototype #2, complete and ready for some funky finish. I'm thinking maybe water transfer printing in Desert Tiger Stripe. Also some upper receivers I'm putting together for some guys using RRA 9mm upper receivers.

The stand was made by Plasitx Plus.

What is the hole below the ejector port for?

The hole is for the Oly ejector assembly pin.

tc, eisman was iming me in regards to my quest for the best price on the 9mm upper itself, sorry for the confusion, didn't mean to tread on your post.

I see on RRA's websight that they have the A4 9mm upper complete with door and shell deflector for $160, probably a fair price all things considered, I was just wondering if anybody had them for sale for less?   Thanks for any help, John

Adco has them listed at $160 per RRA rules, but will e-mail you the actual price that they cannot post on their website.  All you have to do is click on the "get actual pricing" link.

Adco 9mm RRA uppers

Unfortunately, the flat top 9mm upper is listed as "backordered", but they do have the A2 style.  I'm having trouble with my AOL e-mail and can't get the actual price (I'm dumping AOL soon), so can somone check the actual price of the RRA A2 for me and post it here or IM me?

Thanks.

Garrison Manufacturing has A3 pistol caliber upper receivers for $125.  I haven't seen one in person, but many posters on this board have positive comments regarding Garrison build quality.  That price is less than the Model 1 Sales price on these.

Back to TangoChaser's original topic...

That looks great, and just in time too!

Thank you for putting in all this effort.

Sending you an IM on the upper conversion too.

Is the Garrison Mfg. upper similar to the RRA, without a forward assist?  I see a drawing at the link listed above, but I wanted to make sure before ordering a few of them for my two Oly's.

Thanks.

I'm convinced the RRA, Doublestar Arms, and the Garrison MFG 9mm uppers are all made by the same company, whoever that is. They all look the same in the pictures and all have the same price for just the upper receiver. Coincidence?

Just what I needed to know.  A few of those uppers and a couple of Samson Manufacturing's rail forends and my Oly's will be just like I want them.  After the BUIS (also from Samson) and my AR45 lower!

This is starting to get expensive.  Scott told me he has railed forends for AK's now, too.  I have a few, actually about seven of them, that would look good with those!

Thanks Tango.

I wonder how my Upper would look on your lower Tango? Too bad I live in CT and have to own a preban lower to have the collapsible stock

The upper is a RRA 9mm,Armalite FF tube, Oly 45 Barrel cut to 10 (yes SBR) and a Vector UZI 45 Can.

Oh,
one more thing. My brass was getting whacked pretty hard on ejection because the port was not large enough to clear the brass. I removed material from the right of where the dust cover "clicks" in on the top all the way to the corner.

If brass is ejecting high through the port, you might try bending the tip of the ejector spring up a little. This would make it contact the back of the brass higher on the brass and may caused it to eject in a flatter trajectory.
