spike's website says this for for a ciener kit, will i also work with m261's?

if the 261 kit is a self contained kit that does not require the buffer or buffer spring than it should work, what it does is just thread in where the buffer tube would be so that the ceiner kit has something to back against

i understand that. but i didn't know if maybe the ciener kit was different in length than the m261 which may make it non-compatable. being the bolt assyembly shouldn't be allowed to move around too much.
