Week 10 Begins > Rimfire and Pistol Calibers

I ordered an RRA 9mm 10.5" upper ten weeks ago. I've been told they are waiting on barrels last week and carriers this week. At this point I've not been given a completion date as they claim to be held up by suppliers also providing specious delivery schedules.

Being popular means that small firms sometimes get backlogged. This is the case with RRA. I've had a 9mm carbine on order since mid-January; 10 weeks is not in the same league. No flame meant, but don't blame Rock River for being so popular that they can't keep up with demand.

I'm not necessarily blaming RRA. I'm am somewhat bummed that a 5-week estimate has doubled with no end in sight. In my business I stand by my quotes to customers.

I hear you. Unfortunately, there are issues that are beyond their control. If your business was dependent on supplies that just did not arrive, you'd probably disappoint customers to some extent, and that looks like what their situation is. And I DO understand being bummed, as I have been waiting for a LONG time for my carbine. If I wasn't chin-deep in school right now, I'd be REALLY bummed by the wait.
