Because I've never seen a URX II on a 9mm build before.   I built this up as an exact clone of my MK18 (with the only difference being the caliber of course) so I'd be able to train with cheaper ammo and at the indoor ranges close to home. |
The rest of us can't get URXs for 5.56 guns and you slap one on a 9mm!!!

I came across a used RRA barrel that was chopped down and threaded so I'm using my Evolution 9 on it - which is a pain since I like to leave it on my 226 Tac. Luckily, I just got in a new Tros 5" 3-lug barrel and I think I'm going to go with a AAC Striker 2 so that I don't need to switch out boosters anymore. |
The URX II is the FF rail. The thing over the trigger is the new NKS Gen 2 pins which are "supposedly" made specifically for 9mm AR's. Are they worth the $20? Who knows, but I figured I'd give them a try. |
How long is the existing barrel now? What kind of accuracy do you get with it at 50yards or so? I'm going to be chopping down my barrel and am trying to determine the length. |
