is this the same as a 5.56 spring in a colt/RRA 9mm bolt

problem is occasssional weak ejection distance and stovepiping

The extractor in the COLT/ASA/RRA/Garrison 9mm bolt is similar to that as found in a 1911 pistol slide.

hmm, so it is just set by the tesion from the extractor? never had it apart
