Looking at the shell deflector in the photo, I would guess Vulcan/Hesse.  Buyer Beware!

Thanks for the head up I know. SPG is selling some Vulcan stuff and DPMS as well I was hopping it was DPMS. Knowing its vulcan I will avoid it like the plauge.

I have heard/read the complaints regarding Hesse/Vulcan here.  I wonder though if it is as much an issue when the intended use is a rimfire upper.  Do you think failure is an issue, or is it simply that their quality is so poor that they aren't woth the money.  Again considering the applcation.

I pose the question because I was considering a Hesse/Vulcan MP5/HK94 clone specifically to convert to 22LR if I could find one really cheap.

in the description of the upper it says that its "carbon fiber"

i would say its a bushmaster.  but if bushmaster buys their "carbon fiber" upper from someone else, then who knows.

Hopefully the link works.  It's definately not a Bushy 22 assembly.

I've seen the pictures of the melted threads on the receiver, broken take down pin lugs, and cracked receivers.  If you weren't sure about it, this says alot:

Based on the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act, Vulcan Arms Inc. offers no warranty on its product line.

It is not a DPMS upper either.  I too would guess that it is Hesse / Vulcan.
