Are the ASA 9mm uppers any good from Brownells.  I would like a RRA flattop with the green furn but I get a discount at Brownells.

Thanks,

My first 9MM carbine is an ASA that I just put blue Cavalry Arms furniture on. It runs very well. Cosmeticly, ASA cut off the forward bolt assist. It`s not as attractive as the RRA. I did replace the ASA trigger pins after one snapped. Even broken, the gun kept shooting. All my 9mm carbines like hot ammo. Unless you get a real big discount, I would go for the RRA. It`s simply a better made weapon. Although every time I think about getting rid of my ASA, I just can`t do it. Check out AdcO in the industry forum for RRA 9MM stuff.

If you have a business license or FFL, send it to RRA and get their discount too.  It is about 20-25% off retail on uppers.

Interesting......RRA will extend you a discount even if you don't have an FFL?  (Just want to be clear.)  If this is the case I'll have to look into this.
