Dr, I don't know if you missed it but I gave you the e-mail address of a guy who has and can regularly get Colt 9mm mags when I replied to your Uzi Mags post. |

Colt never made the mags. They are a product of Metalform, manufactured exclusively for Colt. Colt has restricted purchases (to ensure availability to their LE and Government customers, they say) of AR/M16 guns and parts to orders on agency/department letterhead. Only in Connecticut would a business thumb it's nose at customers waving $ in their faces. From a higher up in Colt management, they are clinging to the position that if they are selling ARs, they are more likely to get sued. Hell, most of their current guns are marked AR-15, making them illegal for sale in Connecticut. Nothing like going out of the way to avoid sales. Mike (disgruntled in Connecticut) |
