I am having a problem with failures to feed using the 25 round Sten converted magazine.  I can manually feed the rounds and it works perfect.  But when I am firing it the round tips up and jams.  Any cure for this problem?  The one Colt mag I have works fine.

Er, you mean 25 round converted UZI magazine, right?  Because I don't think a Sten mag will work in a Rock River Arms/Colt style upper, at least not in any configuration I have seen!

Does this happen with every round, or only the last few in the magazine?  I have had a similar problem on the last round in every one of my Uzi mags which can be solved by taking out the follower and bending the legs slightly to flatten out the feed angle.  Try it on one mag and see if it helps.  The rounds don't need to sit flat, just at a shallower angle, figure half of the angle they currently sit at.

STEN? Did you really need to ask this question? You already knew the answer!

Rhetorical question.  Do you know what I mean?

Probably ment UZI mags.  It happens on every round.

Also, on lunch hour today I found 2 Colt 20 round mags at a local gun store.   Better than nothing I guess.

Well.... I see a really simple solution to his problems....... send back the colt style upper... and get an Oly style.  Colt style= headaches and extra $$ to get it working right, Oly style= drop in and go, more time at the range having fun.

Not my ad and I've never done business with the guy, but he's got Colt 9mm mags listed for $65.00.
