[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 9mm Dissy

I have a mid length 9mm upper now from RRA that I'm extremely pleased with. Is there a barrel and sight block combination that I can use to lengthen the sight radius to a dissy. I'm not sure if there are shims needed for the front sight base or one that can be pinned in place. Any suggestions or has anybody even wanted a 9mm dissy before.

I know that Steve @ ADCO moved the front sight base forward on a 9mm upper to turn it into a dissy for a team member here. You might check with ADCO pic thread in the Industry forum to see if the pic is there, and/or ask Steve what it would cost to do.

OPtions-
Standard front sight base moved out and rifle length handguards

Rifle length float tube and PRI flip on barrel

Rifle length float tube and flip sight on tube or LMT rail mount fixed sight--easiest

All depends on what you want to do!

I just knocked the FSB off and dropped on a rifle length Troy rail and I was good to go...
