go with the Air Force conversion.

Much more reliable. I've never had a jam or FTF with mine.

USGI M261 adapter is excellent as long as you use CCI minimags.

Mine runs like a ewing machine.

Along the same lines of this question, I'd like to ask one.  A friend just bought a Bushmaster M4A3 carbine.  He is already looking for .22 cal. conversion kits for it but after spending over $900.00 on the rifle, dosen't want to spend over $300.00 for a conversion kit.  
Can anyone suggest WHAT kind of .22 conversion kit to get for the weapon and the best place to buy one (meaning cheap)?

For a drop in kit, JAC conversions run $180 with a 30 round mag.
