| Seems as though I remember somebody offering an upper in 50 AE. Anyone know who? Anyone tried one? |

Quoted: A fella named Tony Rumore (spelling?), do not think he doing anything more, but try www.tromix.com He is very much still doing them! Why say things like that?? [?] I have had one of his 458 SOCOM, 50AE and 440 CORBON uppers.....they are top quality pieces and are all very accurate. He uses match quality blanks as I recall. |

Yeah, that little turban chaser incident with the media turned into a rather large problem, so I shut down in December of 2001. Didn't come back on-line until November of 2002. Tromix never "went out of business" though, just quit doing business for a year. I had a little talk with the Tromix webmaster over that whole deal and you'll find the website a bit more mundane than it used to be. We took the naked women off and pulled all the off-color jokes. After getting into the small caliber stuff lately, our customer's are a bit older and less appreciative of juvenile humor. Tony Rumore Tromix Corp |

Quoted: After looking over Tonys website I can say that I need to start looking for the funds for his upper. I had a incident this fall with a black bear that convinced me that I want something HEAVY. How about 240gr 44 caliber at 2200fps??? His 440 Corbon upper is sweet. Or how about 300gr @ 1900fps? 458 SOCOM? |
