I am using a rra 2 stage trigger in my lower
with this 22lr DPMS upper an i am getting double fires and sometimes my hammer wont cycle even though the next round is going into the chamber and old shell extracted....

Must i use a mil spec hammer/trigger only with this upper?
Anybody able to help?
THANKS ALL!

I have a DPMS .22LR upper on an Eagle Arms lower with an RRA NM 2-stage trigger, and I have had no functional problems.  Have you thoroughly function-tested the lower by itself?  Does the lower have problems with other uppers?

Double-firing really sounds like a sear (trigger-to-hammer) engagement problem.  I can't think of an incompatibility with the upper that would cause that, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.  (Could you be bump firing unintentionally?)

Lower works flawless with all other uppers
and no im not bump firing by mistake...

What kind of ammo have you been using?
I have been using federal red box and federal gold match so far

I would try other brands of high velocity 22s.  In my opinion, using one brand is not enough to say ammo isn't the issue.

Good luck,
Dan
