| I am considering purchasing a pistol caliber uppper for me pre-ban CAR-15. Although I like 9mm, is there a good .45 ACP model available? If you have a preferred manufacturer, please give me your experiences with your equipment. Who makes an upper that uses standard, pre-ban mags, instead of making a hybrid mag out of a Sten or Thompson mag?? I saw one for a Dalphon upper and the mag looked like a weapon itself! |
| thecrue is wrong. Oly does not make a 45 that will take pistol caliber mags. Only the 9 and 40 as you suspected. MSRP directly from Oly is $594.00, but many true FFL dealers (not junk dealers, seconds dealers, and FFL wanna-be's) can get them for you at a great. Check the Oly web site for the distributor nearest you, and call them. |
