| Well, I've had it. I'm tired of getting the runaround between Brownell's and Aero. Neither can or will tell me when I'm going to get the rifle I ordered over 6 weeks ago (June 18th!). I guess a gun with great specs at a great price is a bit too good to be true. So, with Aero unable to get it done, what should be my 2nd choice? |

So who did you order from...Aero or Brownells? Both have always provided excellent customer service for me. Well, I wish I were you because I've received 0 support from either. Yes, I bought when Brownell's was doing $50 off so the nearly complete rifle was a good price but if they can't deliver, they can put whatever price they want I guess. I have called Brownell's numerous times and each time they say the shipment was supposed to arrive at the end of June but they haven't received an update since. I tried contacting Aero but they will not give the status of a shipment unless it is specifically for me. I don't plan to cancel until I find a suitable replacement, but the looking has begun, hence my OP. |
| Not sure what sort of support you are expecting ? Brownell's either truly does not know when, or is unwilling to promise you a date if they can't meet that date. Aero has to honor contract obligations with Brownell's to not disclose any contract terms or conditions. 6-8+ weeks wait is aggravating, but probably worth the wait. |

Six weeks for desirable firearms or parts is not a long duration in this market. July just had another record number of NICS checks. I'm personally on a 8 week wait for an Aero order that "should" have been shipped in 3-4 weeks. I'll gladly wait. 2. Both Brownell's and Aero Precision are reputable companies. You will receive what you ordered at the price you ordered. 3. If you have a beef, it's with Brownells. 4. Lastly, I know you're venting but it's a little hard to offer a 2nd choice if you fail to provide either the specifications of your Brownells/Aero order or what you want in AR. Just sayin' |

Well good golly Miss Molly....I'm told the rifle will ship next day which hopefully means I'll see it Monday. I really, really hope it was worth the wait.
I just don't get how a major company that buys rifles by the 100s can't get accurate ship dates from their suppliers. Even though I was told I would get an updated ship date, I never heard back from them until the product was in stock and only then it was to ensure I was still interested in buying it. I will say, Brownell's did eat the shipping costs for the trouble so +1 for that. |

Things are tight right now, for example I can't find a stripped Anderson upper anywhere. I saw when I checked my phone at lunch AIM had sent me an email they got them in one morning last week. I went to their website to order them and within a few hours they had sold out again.
If my stripped lower shows up I will be tickled, it has been ordered from LGS for a week and a half. Not an usual amount of time (it took a couple weeks in May for my last one) but it is rough to wait. |

I need an update, I need free shipping, now I'm upset with BOTH. You sound like a Hillary voter? Chill. No need for name calling. Finally got my hands on my rifle. Scope is mounted but not officially zeroed. Fired all of 4 shots to make sure everything was working. So far so good. Let the learning begin! |
