New here, so this has been discussed before.  Just swapped out the milspec trigger (8.5#) for a Timney 3# competition.  I am not that gunsmithy, so entered into this with a slight batch of nerves.  Never mind.  15 minutes later done.  Measures an average of 3 lb 3 oz over a 10 pull spread.  I like it a lot.  I already know about all the others too thank you.

Takes about 2 minutes to put an MBT in.

Does that two min include removing the old FCG and reassembling with new trigger? If so....mad skills yo.

It really doesn't take much longer than 5 minutes if we're talking about standard hammers and triggers. Should be even faster when you're just dropping in what is essentially a trigger pack.

Took me 5 in a Sig MPX (but only because lining up the hammer pin holes made a slight challenge.  Much easier when you insert a punch on the opposite side and push it on through with the pin!)

Haven't had her out yet, but in dry fire testing its much more crisp than factory and nearly half the weight.

I have gone the full circle, only owned the one single stage and now a mix of Larue MBT and Geissele

OP, you should try a good 2 stage. Larue still has the $125 deal going on the MBT or catch Geissele on sale.

15 minutes isn't bad if you are taking your time, learning, checking, and oh, its your first time.  Good job, now go buy a stripped lower to put the other trigger in.
