I have a barrel that I can't turn on a go gauge unless we put punch through to increase the leverage. It turns and clicks  but cannot be turned by hand without the use of the punch. One guy thinks that it is good and the other thinks it is bad. which is correct?
If you build a gun and get it to close on the go gauge even though it is super tight and takes a lot of force. Is it in spec?
Thanks

Extractor and ejector removed.

The NOGO gauge should not turn, if significant force is required, it passes the NOGO gauge.

No resistance should be felt when turning the GO gauge.

Ideally, no carrier, just a naked bolt.

Thanks for the reply. I test it with just the bolt to lessen the bcg coating tolerance stacking. If it turns with the nogo then it is long chambered. No question there. It is just when checking with to go gauge. I don't use the crossbar to test. The other guy does. He can't get the go gauge to turn unless he uses the added leverage from the cross bar. I think it is a fail but he thinks it is a pass. The video shows how he does it with the crossbar which I believe is the incorrect way. I think it is short chambered because of a worn out reamer at the factory.  I will put your vote  towards theshortchambered / fail vote.
thanks for the reply:)
