Hey there,
Got 10 posts so I figured I would introduce myself. I'm from St. Louis and I'm in the process of building a rifle. (got my assembled upper in the mail today) I've been visiting this site for a while and have learned a lot. I will do my best to avoid being a dumb noob, but I can't make any promises. I will share pics as the build progresses. Been a lurker for a while, and I look forward to learning even more as a participant. Cheers C. |

Welcome aboard. This site will be a drain on your wallet if you are not careful! The wallet, and the fiancée, are starting to grumble. The goal is a basic, properly functioning, usable rifle first...then customize with optics, stocks, etc. Still need some important parts -- lower, bcg, irons -- but looking forward to it for sure. Once your finances allow, the fiance' will never know, odds are that she'll never be able to tell the first three or four AR's apart. Guns come in, and guns go out, and, "Oh, that old thing? I've had that rifle for years". |
