I was thinking about getting some sort of Ergo Grip, Troy BUIS, and a Sling.

I am left-handed, are there any tips to give when shooting the AR or any upgrades or add-ons I might feel worthy?

Can't give you many tips on being a lefty, but I will say you made an excellent choice on a rifle!

Welcome to Arfcom!

Lefty? Before buying all the ambi stuff that's out there, give it a while to figure out what feels uncomfortable. I only do things about half lefty to begin with and have yet to push my Norgon mag release from the left side.  The one thing that I do love the hell out of is the Bad Ass ambi safety. Pick the standard, short thin and the end cap and live happily ever after. If you are the only one shooting it, put the end cap on the left side for no interference with your trigger finger. Although I don't pull the charging handle from the right much, the Raptor charging handle is a nice addition too, works well and gives you the ambi option. They have a combo deal.

Congrats on your new Daniel Defense. I got the standard weight V5 about 6 weeks ago and really like it. Get your iron sights next and put it through its paces. There are numerous sights available and I'm sure you will get feed back from others. I chose Troy folding as I used them before and worked well. After you get your iron sights, start thinking about a red dot optic.

Along with the safety, an ambi bolt release comes in handy...

Thanks yall! I will look into those!

Im looking to get the Troy BUIS but not sure if the 2 or 3 hundred dollar one. What can the more expensive one do, glow in the dark?

Troy buis are gtg.  Enjoy. Check out stag. They might have a lefty upper and a bcg so you aren't getting shells in your cheek.

Not a fan of Troy as a company (google it a bit--we can't talk about it here), but I hear their stuff is solid.

Good choice of company to purchase from, though (recognized the shopping cart screenshot). :)
