Hey folks,

Will a fully assembled a2 lower with a fixed stock and rifle buffer and tube function on a 16 inch carbine or midlength upper?

Yes and Yes reliably, I just did this yesterday with my 727 upper on my A4 rifle lower and had no problems what so ever, worked just fine.

I've done it.  It should.  I guess if an upper had a really small port hole it could be a problem, possibly.   But I've yet to hear someone say it was an issue.
