I'm just starting to get into AR's. Here's what I got.
Picked up a naked Colt from my LGS 
Thids is what the gun looked like about an hour after I got it home, with the parts that I picked up with the gun: 
Now I've decided to cut down the front sight rather than deal with an aftermarket replacement, due to the fact that I would have to pin the any new gas block I got. But the A2 front sight was already pinned so I figured I'd just save some trouble and use that. So here's the front sight cut down: 
I'm currently awaiting my Midwest industries free float hand guard, my Magpul STR stock, and I'm currently looking for decent optics. I'm thinking the Bushnell 223 I'm also waiting on my LGS to get my S&M M&P10 that they ordered for me. I'll update this as I go Hopefully this round of gun collecting isn't going to cost me a small fortune? LOL!! |
