I finished my A2 rifle build and finally put it on paper today. Been a long time since I adjusted sights, in the Army, on an A2. The barrel assembly came from Anderson and is a 20" H Bar, all I could find at the time. The upper is a Cerro Forge. I set my rear aperture one click past 3/8 using the long range hole and the front, F marked, level. I used M16a2 zeroing targets. I fired my first three rounds and I was 6 clicks right and 10 clicks low. I didnt worry about windage, just elevation. I thought 10 seemed a lot so I moved it four. long story short, after a total of ten clicks up, it was putting three rounds touching at 25M. My question is, doesnt 10 clicks up, on the front sight post seem excessive? I mean, according to the Army FM I was using, the weapon is now zeroed for 300m. I guess if it hits where its supposed to, leave it but was just looking for input.
Thanks, Jeb

F-marked FSB with an A2 upper?  10 clicks "up" from mechanical zero does not seem excessive.
