I need to order a couple A1 profile lowers from Nodak Spud as well as an A1 upper.  I see they offer A2 lowers as well.  Is there a difference, appearance or features, between an NDS A2 lower and all the standard Spikes, Anderson, Aero, etc, other than quality?

They aren't marked "safe/fire" on the starboard side like most lowers.

Yes, I am aware that it's not seaworthy.

If needing one in gray, NDS is the way to go. If black, McKay offers a similar lower without big roll marks/logos on it for less money and are usually available. My NDS A2 is marked SEMI - SAFE on the right side.

Interesting. I have one on order but don't actually have one yet.

The pic on the website shows it not having them.

The start of my 727 build at the bottom. Shitty picture, so its tough to see. I was going to use a no-tick selector until I saw that it has markings. Not sure if markings or no-markings are more correct for my build but I'm not too picky

Well, they offer their A2 lowers in XM grey for starters. Other than that, higher quality fit/finish and no stupid logos on it. Also marked Safe and Semi, vs. Safe and Fire like many modern lowers.

All select-fire M16A2-family rifles had selector markings on both sides and a "tic" in the selector, regardless of what style-lower forging they used.  This includes the RO727.
